| Video or PowerPoint Entries: | None will be accepted with a an email stamp time after 11:59pm, February 14, 2012. These are pre-judged. PowerPoint entries must be in ".ppt" format not ".pptx". Please note these new changes for 2011: PowerPoint entries must be emailed to iasg.competitions@gmail.com Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, and the link to the video must be sent to Josh Payne at iasg.competitions@gmail.com. German subtitles for video entries would be greatly appreciated! Only three per school will be judged. |
New for 2011: There will be a competition between schools to determine the school that wins the most competitions at Staatskongress. Don't worry! The winner will be calculated based on an average, so even a school with a small number of participants can win. You can register your school for the Staatskongress online here. After the school has registered; Each student must also register for the Staatskongress online here. NEW!!! Heritage speakers! Teachers/students are asked to indicate the students who have learned most of their German outside the classroom. These students will be labeled as heritage speakers and they will be allowed to compete at his/her school level, and they may receive first, second, third ribbons in competitions for their achievements.
