2008 Judy Eaton Award

At the 1998 Staatskongress the first Judy Eaton Award was presented. This award is given by the IASG Executive Board to a person who has contributed significantly to the spirit of the IASG Staatskongress. For 2008, Mary Ann Verkamp and Genene Kambs Halverson were selected as the Judy Eaton Award recipients. Congratulations!

The 2008 award was given to two extremely deserving women who have given years of their time to insuring the success of Staatskongress. Mary Ann Verkamp will retire from Hamilton Southeastern High School in the spring of 2008. She served as the base institution sponsor of the IASG for a number of years and has been an extremely valuable resourse to the IASG board. Genene Kambs Halverson will retire from Carmel High School in the spring of 2008. She most recently served as the base institution sponsor of the IASG. Her knowledge and insightful suggestions have been an asset to the IASG board. Congratulations to Frau Verkamp and Frau Halverson! You are so deserving of this award! We'll miss you!
